  Occupation: Tony Spencer is currently the New York City Director of the National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS (BLCA).

 
  Occupational Background: He worked in the executive chamber for Governor Mario Cuomo as well as Secretary of State Basil Paterson. He served in the office of Congressman Charles Rangel as a community liaison. He was Project Director for New York State Banking Department. He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the New York Army National Guard.

 
  Educational Background: He earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Political Science from the University of the State of New York. He was a SEEK student and served as President of the City College Student Senate. He also graduated with honors from the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

 
  Organizational Affiliations: Mr. Spencer is affiliated with numerous civic organizations including, 100 Black Men, 369th Veterans Association, 555th Parachute Infantry Association, Inc and a past member of the Harlem Little League Board of Directors. He is a Vice President of the Hamilton Height’s West Harlem Community Preservation Organization. Lieutenant Colonel Spencer is a former Commanding Officer of the 369th “Harlem Hell Fighters.”
