Pedro Morillo and his wife Belgica have
being married for 19 years. They have three Children
Pedro Jr. 16, Stephanie 12, and Janelle 6. They
are one of the happiest families in the City of
New York.
NYC Council district 7th, requires a person with
strong desires, and natural abilities to serve
the People of Harlem and Washington Heights. A
leader who brings People together, and who treat
others with respect and willing to provide equal
opportunity for all.
Pedro Morillo is that person, a man of
Principles and Family values, who wants to enhance
dignity, respect and equal protection of the law
for all.
Pedro Morillo is going to bring funding to
create more Programs to improve the quality of
life of this poor District 7th. (The poorest district
in the City of New York), and heavily neglected
by the local politicians.
Pedro Morillo as a City council wants : 1-
Protect Senior Citizens by creating comfortable
community Center. Fight for Medicare and Affordable
Housing for Seniors.
2- Jobs Creation, including adult, youth, and
students.
3- Create affordable housing and day care centers
for single mothers.
4- Protect the environment. Clean air and water,
better garbage collection.
5- Aides Prevention programs, and better care
for HIV infected people. To improve emergency
hospital attentions.
6- To improve transportations, train stations
and build Municipal Parkings.
7- To create immigrants informations and orientations
Centers.
8- To improve Police and community relations residency
requirements for NYC police officers.
9- Educations: reduce class sizes, improve safety
and securities by bringing Police Officers in
Public Schools. Keep students within the School
district of residency. Also Uniform in the Public
Schools.
10-Recreation: more sports tournaments, and after
school Programs. Also cultural and Arts activities.
