Opposing unnecessary regulations that stifle competition, Badillo will rid the city of excessive and complicated business guidelines that depress the city’s local economy. These rules hurt the city’s lower skilled workers the most and ought to be eliminated when possible.

Continuing the war against crime initiated by the Giuliani administration, Badillo supports the training of large and culturally diverse police force that has expertise in interacting with community groups.
