Michelle Romero candidate for City Council in the 37th District representing East New York, Cypress Hill, City Line, Ocean Hill-Brownsville, Bushwick, and Wyckoff Heights communities.

My vision is to build a district with one collective mind committed to fostering the economic resurgence and revitalization of our communities. Together we can improve the educational standards for our young people by creating new initiatives to enhance teaching and learning. My commitment to the community involves facilitating new business ventures; developing affordable housing and repairing our aging infrastructure. We will fight to establish a safe neighborhood by building a cooperative relationship between residents and police.

My goals are to provide services and facilities to address the needs of our community. So, side-by-side, step-by-step, we can establish a safe and vital community where businesses and homeownership flourish; schools are places of learning and essential services are furnished.

The 37th Council District is a diverse community with talented and hard working people who deserve a representative that address their needs. I am the candidate who can bring positive changes to our community. I have been working to resolve issues in the community as a Legislative Assistant for 15 years. My experience gives me the skills necessary to meet the goals of a resurgent community.
