As a Queens native, community leader, and someone who has worked in almost every branch of government—City, State, and local, I have the experience, contacts, and knowledge to get things done for the district. I am also independent, which gives me the ability to effectively respond to the needs of the constituents, rather than focus on the needs of special interests. Through my tenure in City government, I have had the privilege of working with all of the neighborhoods in the district and am familiar with the various needs of the different constituencies that make up our community. I am a community leader who will work hard for the things that are important to us— education, safe neighborhoods and safer streets, smart economic development, affordable housing, and improved services for Seniors. I will use my experience to improve our quality of life and to build a strong future.
