1. What is the most important issue in Council District 46 you would address if elected?

We must fully fund senior programs and services to ensure that every senior is treated with dignity and respect. To ensure that our children receive a quality education, we must better train our teachers and reduce class size. It is also important to increase after-school arts, music and sports programs. The city should provide more funding to community based organizations, block associations and faith-based organizations.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

I want to open up a community office where the residents of the Council District can come for help and to apply for government programs and services they need. To improve academic performance in our children’s education, I will work to restore discipline and respect in all of our schools. I will bring in programs to raise the level of health preventive care in our community. I will work with private businesses to open up job training programs throughout our neighborhood.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

As a single mother, homeowner, community and public relations professional, I feel I have the ability and knowledge on how to help the people of the 46th Council District. I pledge to you that I will work hard and do whatever it takes to improve the quality of life for all the residents of our community.
