1. What is the most important issue in Council District 28 you would address if elected?

Health Care is a major concern for any community, plus Economic development which is essential for the growth of the community. Power is knowledge, therefore education is a necessary component for the community.

 

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Over saturation of housing in one given area, and affordable daycare for the community. Any enviroment issues that affect my community is a concern. Transportation may be a problem for my community, and any labor issues that is presently pending.

 

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

I am a lifelong resident of District 28th, I have been an advocate for the Southeast Queens community for over 30 years. As a native of South Jamaica, I have worked tirelessly to develop community-based programs for crime prevention, drugs, and alcohol treatment. I have extensive experience in City goverment and politics as a District Leader, and former Councilman (Term Limits). Having served on the following committees Againg, Public Safety, Economic Development, Contract, and Chairman of the Sub Committee on Crime and Substance Abuse.
