1. What is the most important issue in Council District 21 you would address if elected?

Currently, District 21 has an extreme shortage of housing and is being unfairly impacted by zoning laws. The creation of affordable housing units is my number one priority. I believe developers should be encouraged to build affordable housing. The Residents of my community deserve affordable and safe housing.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Preserving our neighborhoods, Preserving our Quality of Life for all residents through equal and efficient access to government. My immediate concerns are: illegal conversions, lack of of vocational programs for unemployed and new immigrants, quality public education, safe and affordable childcare, increased police presence and small business development.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

As a community activist born and raised in this district, I have spent the last 21 years volunteering and working with people to make businesses and government work for them. I believe city government should always have someone who cares about people, works with people and stands up for them.

As a life time member of this community, I understand our community priorities. As a mother raising two children here, I want my children educated and safe. My background as a political consultant and financial specialist gives me an critical tools to better serve my district in the way the people desire. I will use the best proven financial planning to build and improve our district.

People don’t see crime, education, inclusion and the environment as issues to be discussed; people see problems that need to be solved.
