1. What is the most important issue in Queens you would address if elected?

The most serious issue we face in Queens is the lack of leadership in Borough Hall. Our current Borough President has been missing in action on the most pressing problems confronting Queens. While she has spent her time redecorating Borough Hall, taxes and spending have skyrocketed, hospitals are closing, and small businesses are suffering. Good jobs are fleeing the city and middle class New Yorkers are being forced to leave due to the high cost of living. Our quality of life is in decline.

I offer the voters a different kind of leadership; strong, proactive and assertive. I believe in economic growth and that better days are ahead if we unshackle the enormous creative talent of our people, unburden our small business of the regulations and taxes that are causing jobs to flee. We will flourish if we allow the private sector to flourish.

2. What other important issues would you address if elected?

Charter Schools are the most successful reform we have seen in education and we must expand the number of these independent public schools in Queens. We must eliminate the cap on Charter Schools and grant local religious organizations charters to operate these schools. Charter schools provide parents with greater control over their children's education, achieve better results than the traditional public schools, and offer taxpayers superior results for less money than public schools.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

For many years I have fought to bring important issues to the forefront of public debate and to help educate the electorate on issues of public policy and good government. My knowledge of public policy issues is extensive and combined with my philosophy of small, efficient and unobtrusive government and self-empowerment I am uniquely qualified to help lead our incredibly dynamic Borough of Queens into the future.
