Call the hotline, visit the Board of Elections’ website www.vote.nyc.ny.us, or go to your local BOE office to:

• register to vote
• request an absentee ballot
• change your address or party enrollment
• find out more about the upcoming election
• find out where you need to go to vote

The Judicial Campaign Ethics Center (JCEC) of the New York State Unified Court System publishes an online judicial voter guide with nonpartisan information about candidates for Civil Court, Surrogate's Court, and New York State Supreme Court. The site also provides campaign ethics information for judicial candidates and general information about the state judiciary system for the public.

The Voter Assistance Commission (VAC) is a nonpartisan government agency created to encourage more New Yorkers to register and to vote. VAC identifies historically underrepresented groups and works with other public agencies, private groups, and community-based organizations to encourage registration and voting. You can find the names and contact information for all your elected officials by typing your address in VAC’s Find Your Representative application on its website, www.nyc.gov/voter. VAC holds an annual public hearing after the general election to learn about experiences with voting in New York City and to make recommendations for improvements. VAC also holds public meetings prior to the general election to discuss other voting issues.
